Since October 01, 2009, Universität Karlsruhe has merged with the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe into the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The KIT homepage can be found at www.kit.edu. The internet pages of the former University will remain here for a certain period until all pages will have been moved to the new address. However, many pages will no longer be updated.

Helpful and mean bacteria, virtual worlds and future fuel, giant galaxies and micro scale components: The children’s university 2009 ended after four weeks of lectures and workshops. More than 4000 students visited the south and north campuses. They celebrated their „degrees“ at the Audimax. Pictures, reports and videos can be found on the Kinder-Uni website.
