The Senate's specific responsibilities include:

8.	Making decisions in determining admission numbers,
9.	Making decisions about examination regulations,
10.	Establishing policies for admission procedures, matriculation, re-registration, leaves of absence and exmatriculation,
11.	Making decisions of fundamental importance in questions of research an supporting/funding younger academics as well
	as technology transfer,
12.	Making decisions about basic policy,
13.	Elaborating upon the President’s annual report,
