The Department of Economics and Business Engineering combines a wide variety of very different topics and research areas. These include economic theory, business management, insurance, statistics, and transportation. The courses offered are further enhanced by projects on assessing industrial facilities, developing planning systems, and developing analysis and modeling methods that describe work processes in businesses. All of these fields have one thing in common: a strong methodological orientation.
